Am I a good candidate for whitening?

Most people can safely get laser teeth whitening, but it may not be the best option for everyone. Your dental hygienist will assess your teeth to make sure it’s the right treatment for you. Teeth whitening is not recommended for children under 16 years of age, pregnant or lactating women.

Is laser teeth whitening painful?

Laser teeth whitening is a painless procedure. Nonetheless there are a small percentage of patients that may experience some minor sensitivity during the treatment, but this dissipates fairly quickly. A fluoride treatment can be done after your whitening treatment to help reduce any sensitivity that still persists. For best results, a dental cleaning is recommended prior to treatment.
